On the heels of our earlier post about Teens for Safe Cosmetics, we’ve just learned that the group is throwing an eco-beauty bash here in Dallas this coming weekend. Teens for Safe Cosmetics hosts an evening of green beauty and eco-fashion this coming Saturday at The Spa at Whole Foods Market at Preston and Forest. Sample products from a collective of companies that inspire a green lifestyle, and enjoy facials, makeovers and treatments. There’ll be refreshments, music and giveaways — and the whole event is free.
This week is also your chance to get involved with this group on the ground floor. The group is looking for teen members as well as adults who might be interested in mentoring the fledgling advocacy group. Teens for Safe Cosmetics will be holding a conference call this week for Dallas-area residents who are interested in helping form the local chapter. Get involved by calling (214) 361-8887 ext. 275 or e-mail.
