Also, there will be raffle tickets for sell at both meetings to raise funds for our table a the upcoming DFW Family Expo.

This practice is followed worldwide and is known as elimination communication, natural infant hygiene and infant potty training. The process involves observing one’s baby’s signs and signals, providing cue sounds and elimination-place associations, and can be done with or without any diaper use.

If you’re a fan of the fluff, now’s the time to get involved.  The very first meeting of the new Plano chapter of the Real Diaper Association will meet Thursday, September 3rd at 10:00 a.m. at the Maribelle M. Davis Library, 7501 Independence Parkway in Plano.

The fledgling group is seeking experienced cloth diapering parents to mentor new diaperers,  as well as leaders or members of parenting or new-parent groups (moms’ groups, childbirth educators, etc.) interested in having the RDA visit their group with a show-and-tell on cloth diapers.  Read more about the new group or contact local chapter organizer Angela Imes via e-mail or by phone at 972.310.7695.

They’re eco-friendly, they’re cute, they’re cost-effective, they’re natural … And now, cloth diapers are local, as the Real Diaper Association forms a local chapter here in the Plano area.  The RDA’s bottom line: supporting and teaching parents about diapering choices on a personal level.

Join other families at the Conscious Parenting for Peace Conference, part of The Global Peace Project’s Conscious Community Expo and Concert held Saturday, April 4 at Unity Church of Dallas. The free conference calls for nationwide and world wide unity and service and will offer a full day of speakers, events, ideas and activities.
