The winner will be announced on Friday, February 5, 2010. All banners will be up as soon as graphics are received by the winner. Featured Business Post will be up as soon as winner submits desired posting along with desired date for post to be placed on the NTNF site. Interview will be scheduled with winner on Friday, February 5, 2010 and will air on winner’s desired dated.

EVERYONE IS A WINNER! Everyone who enters our contest will receive a complimentary directory listing along with a ONE month featured business status directory listing for the month of March, listing will be placed just below our Featured Natural Business winner if listed in the same directory!

North Texas Natural Family has implemented a community involvement program where we work directly with non-profit organizations that are working to make a difference in our world with positive social and economic change toward a more sustainable future, and with families in need during the holiday season.

Our very first community involvement program is our “Holiday of Love” program where one family in the North Texas area will be nominated to receive support during the up coming holiday season. We are accepting nominations for this family during the month of November. The “Holiday of Love” program will officially begin on December 1st and end on December 22nd. We will be collecting donations of money and items that will ALL go directly to provide for this family during the holiday season.

The family that is chosen to participate in our “Holiday of Love” program may receive:

• Food for a holiday meal (food will be healthy versions of traditional holiday meals from either Whole Foods, Central Market, or Sprouts)
• Clothing and other necessary items that each family member may need
• A specially requested item for each family member
• Any special gifts made by YOU for the family! (This is great for all you crafters out there and a GREAT way to get the children involved in the Holiday of Love!)
• Holiday cards sent to the family from YOU!

Again, the program will begin on December 1st. A list of all the items needed will be posted along with the expected cost of these items. Monetary donations toward the purchase of the family’s holiday meal and items will be accepted via an online donations button, mail, or a “Holiday of Love” drop-off location. Any items that you would like to purchase or make yourself will be accepted via mail or a “Holiday of Love” drop-off location. Mailing address and “Holiday of Love” drop-off locations for receiving these items and donations will be posted on December 1st. This donation drive  will end on December 22nd and all items collected will be distributed to the family on December 23rd.

To nominate a family in need for our “Holiday of Love” program please email us your name and contact information along with the family’s name and contact information that is being nominated, to admin@NorthTexasNaturalFamily.com with “Holiday of Love program nominee” as your email subject.
